IP’s largest business segment North American Container’s Specialty Graphic Business is made up of 4 core business; Flexo Graphic Inks, Digital Graphic Plate Design, High-End Preprint and Litho Laminate. We are entrepreneurial minded and progressive in growing our business.

This position (Financial Analyst) supports our Preprint operations and the position is based in Tucker, GA (Atlanta area) This position is highly valued and respected within our business.

Manage the day-to-day financial activities of the business:

  • Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting with Analysis

  • Develop into point-person for local managers, Accounting Specialist and off-site Complex Controller

  • Business Value Add Challenge; assist with cost reduction and containment efforts, continuous process improvement

  • Maintain Costing Reports & Analysis

  • Inventory Control

  • Assist Complex Controller with Forecasting, Annual Budget Process, Capital Projects

  • Assist local managers with ad-hoc requests

  • Back-up local Accounting Specialist functions:

  • Accounts Payable

  • Weekly Payroll


  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience

  • Understanding of accounting policies and procedures

  • Financial Statements (know and explain components of Balance Sheet & Income Statement and how they function together; AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Liabilities)

  • Inventory Control (know and explain basic physical inventory procedures)

  • Cost Accounting (identify, understand & interpret variable and fixed costs)

  • SAP (working knowledge of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting)

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations (know and explain purpose of each account and substantiate balance)

  • Business Travel (occasional travel to sister plant in Indianapolis, IN)
