Georgia Employer OPERATIONS COORDINATOR in Tucker, Georgia

Monitor, coordinate and report on all operations of Green Power EMC power generation assets--owned, leased, and contracts. Provide information and support the financial, accounting, and Member billing activities. Coordinate all public and Member relations activities including Member Annual meetings, special activities. Coordinate and manage supporting staff as needed for such activities. Assist in development of new products, services to support Green Power EMC's mission and Member interests and requirements. Represent Green Power EMC at meetings and events. Conduct special projects on an as-needed basis using project management best practices and methodologies. This role will require managing outside resources to complete project tasks, where necessary. Education: Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, environmental science or technology related field is required. Experience: One to four years of experience in project management, renewable energy development, energy/environmental policy. Experience with a utility/energy company is preferred. Experience managing projects with a medium to high degree of complexity and scope. Experience organizing and leading business meetings as well as representing energy companies in corporate environment and executive management is preferred. Knowledge or experience with renewable energy resources, especially solar energy generation, is a preferred. Equivalent Experience: Candidates with a two year technical degree plus four years of directly related experience, or eight years of directly related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Valid driver�s license that meets the insurance eligibility requirements under Oglethorpe Power's Driver Qualification Program. Travel: 25%
