Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions to customers in more than 70 countries. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain, Columbus and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, merchandise display cases and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Kysor/Warren and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.
Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, a $280M division of Lennox Intl, is seeking a Channel Manager responsible for leading, managing and directing all of the channel marketing activities. The Channel Manager will work cross functionally to launch new refrigeration products and services as well as develop and execute strategic channel initiatives to drive revenue and share growth within their assigned channel. They will be responsible for developing industry-leading value proposition messaging and collaborate with marketing communications to create support materials to assist selling to assigned channel and across the businesses’ brands.
The Channel Marketing Manager will also be responsible for evaluating the performance of their respective channel, as well as tracking the success of new product launches and/ or initiatives. They will be responsible for customer marketing related activities and product gap needs, as well as identifying both positive and negative customer trends will be expected to make recommendations for improvement in sales and margin growth. Develop incentive/loyalty programs to generate more sales and create loyalty among customer is one of the main projects that the Channel Manager will take lead. The Channel Marketing Manager will also leverage best practices and encourage team-building and working relationships within marketing and sales, as well as across other parts of the organization to assist the company in achieving its financial goals and objectives.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Channel Development
Develop, implement and manage customer channel programs (loyalty / incentive sales programs)
Develop strategic channel roadmaps and plans
New Product Launch/Commercialization
Develop launch plans with the product management and sales teams
Execute on approved launch plans
Channel Line Management
Track, analyze and manage channel revenue and margin
Research, analyze and set pricing levels for channels
Resolve customer issues working in conjunction with other functions
Prioritize and determine which projects and initiatives to invest resources in to execute the channel strategy
Market Positioning and Value Proposition Development
Understand, validate and communicate value proposition to customers
Develop marketing/sales messages and support materials to assist selling in the channel
Execute initiatives that build channel awareness of new and existing products and drive pull through
Analyze data and define overall channel strategy
Interact with customers, sales, and industry resources to stay in tune with the current market, the competition, new trends, and changing regulations
Work to understand what drive customer decision-making in the channel
Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 2 years of related marketing and or product management experience.
Prior experience in channel management/marketing preferred.
Industry experience in refrigeration or HVAC, or other related industrial equipment preferred
Requires strong understanding of approaches to assessing and improving the customer value proposition.
Must be able to apply strong marketing knowledge including branding, product life-cycle, competitive positioning and communications.
Requires strong cross-functional leadership abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
