Summary: The receptionist position is an ambassador for our company. This person oversees a busy lobby by greeting visitors including: customers, vendors, potential new employees, and makes a positive friendly impression over the phone. Must be able to multi-task.

Standard pay rate: $15.00 per hourHours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Mo – Fr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answer calls & direct as necessary.

  • Welcome visitors to the company and issue guest badges. Notify company representative and direct to proper area, restrooms and coffee.

  • Maintain a welcoming environment in the lobby and oversee cleanliness of lobby restrooms.

  • Update company directories.

  • Order supplies for departments and front desk.

  • Keep coffee station stocked, cleaned & organized.

  • Notify HQ Facility or computer department with equipment problems.

  • Maintain security awareness.

  • Assist with yearly company fundraiser and functions.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of PC, including Excel and Word software, calculator and E-mail
