BRIEF DESCRIPTION This position manages all warehouse activities. He/she will ensure the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse. Also, this position will coordinate the processing of orders to arrive and dispatch on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. In leading all inventory control activities, this person will drive business unit adherence to established processes to successfully complete material transactions. Process development and improvement are essential aspects of this position. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Leads business unit inventory control activities including transactions, material movement and staging, cycle counting, and overall material accuracy. ( Warehouse) * Effectively manage Team Leaders and hourly associates. Build team chemistry and develop associates for future roles in the business. * Coordinate Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen) initiatives to increase overall manufacturing efficiencies at the lowest cost possible. (Promote continuous improvement culture) * Support internal supply chain to meet quality and delivery requirements for the end customer. * Train, motivate, and create a continuous improvement environment where all employees are involved in Kaizen/ 6-S activities, and actively contributing improvement suggestions. * Assist in providing data and/or analysis for key business indicators. (Value Stream OTD, Delinquent Backlog, Quality, Safety, Availability, Manning, and Inventory Control). * Work with the management team to improve TAE by initiating and/or facilitating team building events that also support our community such as Relay for life, food drives, fund raising walks, Habitat for Humanity, etc. * Participate in Business Process (Transactional) Improvement workshops.
