As the Workflow Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing the allocation and release of orders, while ensuring products meet customer or company requirements. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Properly review inbound and outbound orders to verify accuracy, troubleshoot orders and resolve discrepancies
Properly prioritize the allocation and release of orders to meet customer and company requirements
Coordinate workload allocation of material handlers
Accurately allocate and research inventory for orders; identify workload inefficiencies and recommend reassignment of tasks
Properly utilize a warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documents
Properly train and coach warehouse employees
Provide support to the Warehouse Supervisor
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
2 years of experience in warehouse operations
Knowledge of warehouse operations, warehouse management systems, principles and practices of effective leadership skills, and principles and practices of effective customer service
Ability to safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
It’d be great if you also have:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of RF gun and warehouse management system experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed
Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
Material handling certification
