REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL DUTIES PERFORMANCE ADVISEMENT BASED ON PRODUCTION DATA USING HEIDELBERG ASSISTANT * Conduct monthly performance advisement reviews covering Performance Data, Shop Floor Data Collection, Predictive Monitoring, Service History, Service Planning. * Advise customers regarding performance increase measures * Become the go to person for the performance topic * Use Heidelberg Assistant and promote digital collaboration concept CONDUCT ON SITE EVALUATIONS * Observe 8 h shift of production and engage with production crew to understand their operational process in the priint shop * Document the make ready and production times using the appenate tool * Develop improvement roadmap for higher performance * Calculate savings potential * Prepare executive summary presentation * Perform executive summary meeting with target to sell performance services or Performance Plus CONDUCT PERFORMANCE SERVICES AND CUSTOMER WORKSHOPS ON SITE * Perform Make Ready Workshops to reduce make ready times * Perform Perfect Run Workshops to establish Standard Operating Procedures * Participate in Value Stream Mapping Workshops to streamline operational processes * Conduct console training to maximize usage of automation capability MANAGE PERFORMANCE PLUS PROJECTS TO INCREASE CUSTOMER PERFORMANCE * Create project plan following improvement roadmap * Plan and implement action plan for trainings, workshops and advisement * Conduct monthly or bi-weekly reviews to monitor project progress * Project progress and cost monitoring of project * Adjust project plan based on achieved performance increase as needed PRINT APPLICATIONS AND PRESS KNOWLEDGE COMMUNICATIONS * Use broad understanding of printing processes to consult customers * Expertise in print applications to talk eye to eye with press operators * Understand mechanical and electrical components of printing press * Link customer contacts to Heidelberg contacts on an interdisciplinary level * Use knowledge to advise customers to increase performance * Create change management plans for operational staff in conjunction with customers management team PROMOTE DIGITAL SERVICE TO DRIVE SALES FOR SERVICE AND CONSUMABLES * Use customer engagement to point to service and consumables offerings * Utilize On Site Evaluation to drive additional training, performance services, consumables and Performance Plus business * Observe and find opportunities within print shops to increase charged service * Observe and find opportunities within print shops to increase consumables * Point customer to Heidelberg Assistant and eShop to engage with online offerings Regular attendance and timeliness is expected. There may be times that overtime or weekend work will be critical functions of the job. Overtime, if applicable, must be approved in advance. Other duties are assigned as needed by the jobholders supervisor. TRAVEL * Frequently (34-66% of the time) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Associates Degree or equivalent * Over 7 years up to and including 10 years of work related experience SKILLS REQUIRED * Basic personal computer skills * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft PowerPoint * Microsoft Word * Microsoft Outlook * Microsoft Access * SAP ADDITIONAL ELGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS * Candidate needs extensive print production and printing process knowledge. In addition mechanical and electrical component knowledge is required. Understanding of Frontend (MIS, Prepress) knowledge is desired. Also an understanding of data analytics and interpretation of data is a must.
