What weï¿½re looking for: Requirements: AHigh School Diploma or equivalent. 3 or more verifiable consecutive years of experience working in related field. Must posses a current Georgia Driverï¿½s License (Class A) and have a good driving record. Must meet and maintain safe driving standards of company's insurance carrier. Must have thorough knowledge of the Metro Atlanta Area and surrounding counties. Must be able to work flexible hours and days of the week, including weekends. Must be able to push, lift and pull 50 lbs. with or without accommodations. Transportation Driver must maintain a clean MVR, criminal background history (3) three years OTR experience, must be available to work 7 days availability. Loading/unloading of equipment on straight trucks and trailers is required. What youï¿½ll be doing: As a Truck Driver you will drive a tractor and trailer to the assigned destination for transportation of donated goods from various Goodwill donation centers and store locations. Loading and unloading trailers and straight trucks as required will be a part of your daily duties. Your route and trailer will be assigned by your Transportation Manager prior to your departure and arrival. You will be required to perform daily pre-trip safety inspections of your assigned trailers, reporting any and all required action to the Transportation Manager. You will also be responsible for the following: Maintain trailer movement inspection reports. Maintain daily trip reports as per DOT requirements. Prepare and submit UORS (Unusual Occurrence Reports) that may affect daily operations. Perform off loading and loading of trailers at stores and sites. Responsible for properly securing load on each route prior to departure. Perform other duties assigned by Management. Keep all DOT requirements current Does this sound like a place for you?
