Function Specific Activities: The Volume Research Analyst role serves as a key contact for Sales and Finance personnel to support the Volume Research process, responsible for research and resolution of volume issues submitted into the Volume Research Tool and identified by routine processes. In addition, this role is responsible for volume mapping for the Volume Collection process. Core job responsibilities include the following: Responsible for Secondary volume research requests surfaced by Sales and Finance personnel throughout all Food Service On Premise revenue centers, taking necessary action to ensure volume is accurately and 100% completely reported. Analyze monthly Primary versus Secondary volume reports to identify and research anomalies outside of threshold. Research and complete mapping and linkage for new outlets and products reported by Foodservice Distributors and Bottlers. Review and validate monthly reconciliations between volume systems (Matrix, VDM, PLUS) with cross-functional teams. Perform routine audits on volume linkage in TUIDD and VMA. Provide analytical support as needed for the Volume Research process. Providing on-going training/support to Sales and Finance teams on processes and procedures related to Volume Reporting and Research. Builds strong relationships with the cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Finance and Customer Data Management to ensure efficiencies in daily processes. Identify and implement process improvements to the Volume Reporting and Research processes. Provide quarterly audit support as needed. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree required (or the equivalent combination of education and experience). Experience and skills: 5 years of related experience required. Working familiarity with internal Foodservice customer data strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Strong computer and database application skills required. Technical Skills: Financial Analysis.Ability to perform financial analyses to assist in problem identification and resolution, build proficient processes to support decision-making, and the ability to understand and explain data relationships. Communication Skills: Ability to interface with all levels management Proficient with MS Access and MS Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups) Must have experience with internal volume reporting tools including Matrix and VDM. Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
