Job Description:

HK Logistics LLC, a Dematic Company, has an immediate need for dynamic, growth-oriented Shift Supervisor 1 based in the Griffin, GA area. Flexibility to be able to train and move to other shifts based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, oversee and prioritize the daily work activities of the associates.

The successful candidate will:

  • Help to plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities of the production area.

  • May specialize in outbound or inbound operations.

  • Manage flow and work orders and assign priority.

  • Maintain a written backlog of tasks to maintain productivity.

  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the customer.

  • Monitor customer feedback and issues. Resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Lead the team in achieving the Manufacturing KPI’s of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and On-time Delivery

  • Develop and Coach Leads / Associates.

  • Responsible for directing the daily activities of all direct reports (including but not limited to assignment of tasks, necessary instructions, review of completed tasks and disciplinary actions necessary).


  • Previous Warehouse Management Systems experience

  • SAP Knowledge/Experience is a plus

  • Advance skills in Microsoft Office


  • Technical Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Requries 3+ years of Operations / Manufacturing / Supply Chain Management Experience

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and basic knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. Demonstrates understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action. Must have Operations background and knowledge. Typically 3+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Typically manages multiple levels of employees.
