ABOUT INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES

The Cloud Infrastructure Services business unit reflects the Collaborative Business Experience, combining Capgemini’ s consulting, infrastructure build and run capabilities, as well as the provision of cloud based services in an integrated global sales and delivery model. The group provides infrastructure outsourcing services, including data center, helpdesk and network support, as well as market leading services such as service integration and cloud brokering orchestration. The group also provides infrastructure transformation services, helping clients to virtualize and optimize their technology estates.

PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for Atlanta based Project Manager with infrastructure project management experience. ITIL a plus.

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (our client offices are located on Trinity Avenue downtown Atlanta. We are looking for someone who will be client facing, on site daily.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage a team of Program Managers to deliver results on-time, within SLA tolerances and within budget, while also managing their professional growth through skills development, training and challenging assignments

Manage ongoing programs to ensure all objectives are met and time sensitive deliverables meet client expectations

Accountable for development, execution, monitoring and control of project plans, including verification and validation of project deliverables quality

Manage multi-site, multi-vendor efforts including internal and external subject matter experts, and client stakeholders

Deliver formal communications (briefings, reports, etc.) with executive stakeholders

Accountable for internal and external project progress reporting as prescribed by the Program Management Office standards and Capgemini executive leadership

Develop and maintain strong client and account team relationships

Develop project proposals and offer recommendations for improvement through automation, process design and human capital management

Contribute to overall PMO initiatives, regardless of specific program or agency assignment

What you bring:

REQUIRED:

  • 4 years of information technology project-based work experience as a Project/Program Manager, managing simultaneous complex projects

  • At least 2 years of managing relationships with large client decision-makers

  • 2 years of successful business process improvement experience

  • Advanced analysis and reporting skills to render information from disparate data

  • Proficiency in managing competing priorities to successful outcomes

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills

  • Proficiency with project management software, such as Microsoft Project

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based, collaborative work environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry-recognized project management disciplines, methodologies and best practices

  • Project Management Professional certification from The Project Management Institute

DESIRED:

  • ITIL® V3 Infrastructure Library certification

  • IT Infrastructure project management expertise

  • Lean Six Sigma experience
