This position is designed to develop/improve beverage equipment technologies in conjunction with the global equipment commercialization teams. The role will provide analytical support (testing, reporting and observation) for Engineering initiated projects, participate in the development of new technologies through set-up of testing procedures and processes, compilation of lab and field test data, and providing accurate detailed test results for internal stakeholders. This position will need to balance Immediate and Long-Term Priorities: Seeks to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long-term goals. Communicating effectively across technical and business stakeholders is critical to meet this criteria. Function Specific Activities: Function Related Activities / Key responsibilities: o Lead all laboratory activities related to new equipment platforms supporting North-America equipment engineering (i.e. Fountain equipment, Coolers-Vendors, Cashless technology, etc.) o Familiarity with industry requirements (i.e. department of energy) and knowledge to ensure product testing compliance with latest standards. o Evaluate emerging technologies and provide platform to run rapid experimentation on new system designs and mechanisms in the beverage equipment space o Support early stage development to in-market / field trials and commercial launches via expertise in field performance data collection and analysis. o An understanding of electrical, Software, mechanical or thermal principles as they relate to problem solving and troubleshooting in an equipment environment is necessary. Test and equipment setup and protocols may not be standard and need to be developed to maximize efficiency and accuracy. o Proficient in computer desktop application, data acquisition, data analysis Education: Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in technical field or discipline Related Work Experience: 7 to 10 years of hands on experience in beverage vending technology, refrigeration, fluid-flow and thermodynamics understanding with a mechanical aptitude understanding systems designs and controls. Technical experience in equipment OEM or bottler space, computer operations. Additional Related Word and Education Experience (Not required, but desired): Additional experience in vending and cooling systems in an academic environment.
