Job Purpose (Job Summary): What can Invesco Technology do for you? Invesco Technology is over 1,300 strong, with offices around the globe. Invesco Technology's internship program offers you an intimate look into how a global team operates. Providing you experience with technologies such as PowerBI, and a chance to develop skills in project management and leadership. This program focuses on your professional development, harnessing you with the skills needed to differentiate yourself in a competitive workplace. Interns from our 2017 program had the opportunity to work on several diverse projects, including the following:
Explored the use of artificial intelligence with our Disruptive Technologies team and built a new language Skill for Amazon's Alexa.
Built an interactive platform using PowerBI to track the use of Salesforce training for the Applications Engineering team.
Designed and built a mobile friendly version of the Invesco Employee homepage with the help of our Applications Engineering team. Job Summary: The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Intern needs to be able to conceptualize and execute projects that will advance our technology strategy. In this role, you will work with the Chief Technology Officer and other Technology senior leaders to understand our Technology Strategy. Using this knowledge you will be asked to build visual and digital presentations, brainstorm initiatives to enhance our Technology culture and propose solutions that accelerate our Technology Strategy. You will assist our Technology team on key projects, like developing and implementing our strategic scorecard and communications framework.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Aid in the construction of visual and digital presentations that propose solutions related to our Technology Strategy
- Collaborate with other team members and senior leaders to coordinate and complete critical tasks and projects
