AS - Vice President -Transportation - (50060) Job Title AS - Vice President -Transportation Career Level Executive Category Services - National Employment Status Salary Travel Required None Shift Type First Shift (Day) Job Description Position Summary Responsible for all transportation services across the ABM Aviation vertical, ensuring that ABM Aviation is providing consistent, professional and quality service to every customer. The Vice President of Transportation will be the company expert in all aspects of ABM Aviaton's' Transportation line of service, using experience and expertise to develop and implement a sustainable program that leads the aviation support industry. Further responsible for ensuring overall adherence to safety and compliance policies, standards, and procedures established by the company, by our clients (via contractual requirements), and by regulatory authorities across the organization. Essential Duties Accountable for the development, execution and management of ABM Aviation's Transportation service programs. Supports business development activities by working with members of the organization to identify and pursue opportunities where ABM Aviation can leverage its experience to create outsourcing projects and managed staffing opportunities. Administer and/or implement quality and performance systems, programs, processes, procedures and/or plans throughout the organization. Develop and maintain a good, professional working relationship with all customers, establishing a clear line of communication at all levels and lines of service. Ensure an active client visitation program is maintained within each region. Prepare for and participate in weekly senior management meetings to discuss key business initiatives, compliance, financial updates, new business, and operational performance. Generate and participate in monthly and quarterly performance reviews for the organization and for external clients. Develop proposals and pricing in response to customer RFPs. Participate in sales and operational performance presentations to clients. Act as project manager for transportation business start-ups ensuring smooth transition with minimal operational impact to customers while maintaining quality performance and keeping within budgetary limits. Responsible for facilities and equipment, as it relates to the transportation operation, ensuring that the company is providing quality and professional service. Ensure ground operations at all stations within the division are provided with the necessary resources and conducted in accordance with standards of the provider, applicable regulations and requirements of the customer airline(s). Maintain overall compliance culture with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities, including the DOT, FAA, OSHA, and the Department of Homeland Security, at each operation within the Division. Minimum Requirements Travel required up to 50% of the time 10 or more years of management experience Previous aviation experience preferred Ability to work varying hours/shifts depending on operational needs Some weekend work/travel may be required Previous experience in transportation services, management of fleet maintenance and transportation service contracts. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
