About this Role

  • The Lead Azure Developer must have prior experience as a Solution Architect or solution-oriented Engineer combined with solid experience with Cloud offerings for the Microsoft Azure platform.

  • He/she must have experience with Enterprise Data Analysis and will be responsible for providing data and analytical services in support of the Enterprise Data team.

  • The primary objective of the role is to gather and assemble data from multiple internal and external data sources, then providing output in the form of traditional business intelligence or action-oriented business insights.

  • The Lead Azure Developer provides leadership in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery is on time and within budget.

  • He/She directs component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance.

  • This position develops and leads AD project activities and integrations.

  • He/She guides teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.

  • This position researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies.

  • He/She provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance.

  • This position will lead junior team members with project related activities and tasks.

  • This position guides and influences department and project teams.

  • He/She facilitates collaboration with stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certified in Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions (70-535) or Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions (70-532)

  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud computing using Microsoft Azure

  • 5+ years of relevant Azure Cloud experience with hands-on build/integration/release/deployment and scaling activities

  • Strong knowledge of Cloud security standards and principles including Identity and Access Management in Azure

  • Lead Azure DevOps initiatives and grow the DevOps culture/community

  • 5+ years of experience designing object oriented solutions using domain and enterprise design patterns

  • 3-5 years of ASP.NET Web API, Web API OData, SignalR, Owin and MVC experience

  • 2+ years of management/lead experience with a passion for mentoring and coaching team members

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively express ideas, engage in complex discussions and collborate with a wide range of colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer

  • Now or in the future the Company employment sponsorship, such as H1B, TN, J-1, F-1, etc., is not needed in order to start or continue temporary or permanent employment with the Company.

  • Certified in Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions (70-535) or Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions (70-532)
