About the Position The Hosting Systems Administrator is part of our Hosting Operations team responsible for the operational integrity and performance of the Dayforce SaaS solution supporting thousands of customers in multiple data centers across the world. The ideal candidate will be a strong contributor to the Hosting team by being a self-starter willing and able to drive issues to resolution. We provide a high-quality service to our customers by setting customer-focused SLAs for ourselves and our services. Our team members are empowered to learn, observe, and implement improvements for the operations of our hybrid cloud and managed services platforms. Responsibilities Contribute to the operational integrity and success of our Cloud application services Utilize monitoring tools to investigate alerts, review performance, and recommend improvements Support Incident and Problem Management as needed to provide resolution and root cause analysis Collaborate with partners to support Incident and problem Management Participate in an On-Call rotation to support problem resolution or maintenance window changes Support cybersecurity and compliance policy efforts to maintain the secure posture of servers, related hardware, and tools Support IIS applications on Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016 Servers Support Windows on a VMware ESX and Azure infrastructure Support Microsoft WSFC, DFS, DNS, ADDS, WER Support modern web farms and their load balancing The Hosting Systems Administrator will go through Dayforce product training in one of our offices. We expect the product training to provide the Hosting Systems Administrator sufficient awareness of how the application uses the infrastructure platforms so we can do a great job of making the infrastructure work for our customers. Required Skills 4+ years of experience managing Microsoft Windows-based systems in a hosted or SaaS model Excellent communication and documentation skills with an ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner for nontechnical personnel to understand Ability to research, troubleshoot,and solve complex issues in a collaborative environment Proficient with automation in PowerShell and PowerCLI scripting Proficient with modern networking concepts and devices Ability to work in a team environment and partner effectively with others Nice to Have Demonstrated competency in project management Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016 Single Sign-On implementations with ADFS or SAML 2.0 compliant solutions like Ping Identity Solutions Familiarity with PRTG, Pingdom, Parature, Atlassian, SCOM, SCCM, OMS or Office365 Managing infrastructure in Tier 1 datacenters in multiple geographies supporting critical applications that require near 4 9s of uptime Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 experience Ceridian is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
