Position Summary

The Customer Operations Process Specialist provides top-tier order management support to the internal Customer Operations teams. The Customer Operations Process Specialist is responsible for managing batch job request, through processing customer orders, supporting the Transportation Services Group and Cash Application teams to ensure best in class results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage batch job requests during peak seasons (Kingsford, DSD, Transportation Bid, cash/Accounts Receivable transactions, etc.)-

  • Release customer orders and change requests (pooling, resourcing, shipment origin change request, etc.) to ensure shipment within 48 hours of receipt-

  • Assist Clorox internal stakeholders (Order Analyst, Associate Team Lead, Order Management Specialist) in delivering timely and effective communications regarding delivery/order issues --

  • Participate in team and internal meetings

  • Navigation and research in SAP, customer's system (where required), 3rd party systems (where required), and Excel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or a GED from an accredited institution

  • 1 year experience in customer service or order management

  • 1 year experience in Microsoft office suit or similar programs

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years customer service or related experience, ideally in a CPG company

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution

  • Working knowledge of the supply chain and order management process

  • Working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills

  • Ability to adjust quickly to new processes and procedures

  • Ability to work and make decisions independently in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems

  • Team player who helps create, facilitate and encourage a results-focused and motivating team environment

  • Experience in SAP
