VMware Service Account Manager (Atlanta, GA) in Palo Alto, California

Provide advice and guidance to designated accounts and promote expanded sales and ensure adoption of enterprise mobility management solutions to plan, design, and/or customize solutions to meet customer needs. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) and confer with customers, Engineers, and Product Management to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements. Leverage extensive technical knowledge to sell products, solutions and services and support installation, use and training as required. Map product configurations to customer requirements. Drive competing sales requests across simultaneous client engagements. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of assigned products for existing accounts and prospective customers. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and mobility product and service solutions for obtaining best results. In connection with the above duties, apply knowledge and/or skills of: working in a consulting/IT services organization in a customer facing role providing post-launch technical support to customers for mobile application and console implementations; managing and troubleshooting customer software issues; supporting software quality assurance activities including testing and documentation of product issues; and supporting server installations of MDM console. Up to 100% domestic travel required to various, unanticipated client site locations for short-term implementations and/or engagements.
