The Project Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Accreditation Support to support the functions of Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement, Accreditation, Data Support and Utilization Management as well as day to day operations of the department.
Required Minimum Education :
Two years of college or equivalent work experience. Additional training in personal computer applications and medical terminology required.
Required Minimum Experience :
Strong word processing skills (Microsoft word, excel, publisher and outlook); spreadsheet design and management; presentations and graphics applications. Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare administration or other healthcare related area.
Required Minimum Skills :
Self-directed, ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple assignments without direct supervision. Very strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively with and through other people. Familiarity with the management tools utilized within the WellStar Health System. Database management desirable.
