Using project management skills, the Manufacturing Process Engineer will develop, test, implement, and document manufacturing processes and methods required in the manufacture of new and existing products. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will take a leadership role in analyzing and troubleshooting all process problems through determination of root cause and provide engineering or practical solutions. Come join the REI Team!Responsibilities include: New Product Start-ups - Facilitate the start-up of new products from planning stage to mass production which includes developing strategies for new product manufacturing, process design, cost analysis, and quality testing based on new product needs vs. available technologies and current line capabilities Production Support - Troubleshoot production problems involving manufacturing processes. Investigate and determine the root cause of failures and problems and recommend countermeasures or changes. Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen - Analyze production data and identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement. Develop cost down themes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, productivity, yield, operation ratio, and quality and prepare reports to illustrate savings impact. Create and modify manufacturing standards, work instructions, process changes for all aspects of the manufacturing process. Prepare and conduct training for key production employees and production supervisors on new work procedures and manufacturing processes Conduct research, compile data and prepare reports. Prepare and deliver presentations.Qualified candidates will possess: Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering with minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing engineering in chemical processing industry required. Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to the production of various products. Working knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. Very good analytical, problem solving, project management, communication, and presentation skills. Strong math skills. Intermediate skills in Excel and other application software used in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.Apply Here:
