Kforce Service Coordinator in Kennesaw, Georgia

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Service Coordinator in Kennesaw, GA.Essential Functions:

  • Represent company concerns and manage customer and client communications for work schedules to maintain a positive and productive working relationship

  • Schedule and document all department commitments for repairs, maintenance, installation, retrofit, warranty and parts

  • Scheduling shall be done at a minimum of three weeks in advance with day to day adjustments as necessary to accommodate scheduled work

  • Schedule customer onsite training as requested

  • Schedule 24 Hour Emergency Service team and assist emergency service contracted customers as required

  • Communicate with each employee after each assignment, or daily at a minimum to determine the status of the project they are working on; know each employee's location at all times

  • Provide pricing upon request for parts and labor customer and/or company resources in a timely manner

  • Maintain and manage the inventory parts system and process part requests/orders in a timely manner

  • Maintain and document department parts inventory

  • Study and advance in specific technical product knowledge

  • Interact with company website for support information, RMA's, etc

  • Ensure that all preventive maintenance visits are scheduled and performed for each service agreement

  • Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule in the accounting system software for all visits

  • Notify customers of scheduled PM dates two weeks in advance of each visit

  • Call each PM customer the day after each PM visit to insure everything is satisfactory and to address any open items; follow up immediately open item and dissatisfactions; document and notify your supervisor of any dissatisfaction

  • Monitor service receivables and suspend service when necessary

  • Log and track all service work orders; reconcile all open tickets for dispositions

  • Other duties as assigned

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2-years as HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) and/or controls service coordinator, service dispatcher or equivalent experience

  • Ability to resolve customer conflict quickly and effectively

  • Able to provide direction and guidance to other team members

  • Significant contribution to department or unit by applying advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas

  • This position requires excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment and manage the team effectively

  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to organize and plan one's work schedule

  • Must possess the ability to work without close supervision

  • Ability to maintain a professional presentation in appearance at all times

  • Must be able to multitask-be able to work on multiple tasks/projects at one time

  • Possess strong problem solving skills

  • Possess strong communications skills, both oral and written

  • Proficient in the use of E-Mail, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other directly related software

  • Requires passion and dedication to providing the customer with innovative and superior building automation systems and outstanding customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Building Automation Systems

  • Ability to recognize and understand the use of industry standard end devices

  • Possess strong computer operating and/or troubleshooting skills
