Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Georgia is currently seeking an RN for 1st and 2nd shifts at our residential treatment program. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Georgia is located on a beautiful tree-lined, 40-acre campus in Kennesaw, Georgia (one hour outside Atlanta). We're licensed to serve 100 children up to the age of 21, who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges brought on by abuse, neglect, mental illness, sexual exploitation, or intellectual/developmental disabilities. They struggle with mental health and/or emotional challenges including major depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
As a Registered Nurse at Devereux, you will
Assess patients; collect and document the patients current health status and medical history. Perform both direct patient care (i.e.. medication administration), as well as indirect patient care (i.e.. giving thorough, concise report at change of shift).
Maintain documentation related to ESI (emergency safety intervention), QPRT assessments (suicide prevention method), nursing shift progress notes, lab slips, and related nursing procedures.
Participate in and assist with the initial treatment plan and the treatment planning process.
Communicate with members of the treatment team information related to the client's medical care and behavior.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a current Georgia Nursing License.**
Previous experience in procedures performed on the nursing unit with ability to assist other staff members and physicians, working with youth and adolescents is preferred.**
