If you want to be involved in creating the future of online retail, and are dynamic, organized, and passionate about the customer, join our Operations Team as a Group Lead.Position Responsibilities:Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliersProviding vacation coverage for Area ManagersProviding policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)Tracking and reporting of labor hoursAssisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying process complianceEnsuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performanceFully understanding workflow and daily production goalsAssisting in process creation, reviewing and updating training documentation as requiredFilling in as needed with production dutiesAssisting in keeping work area clean and organizedIdentifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area while participating in safety initiativesCoaching associates to work safety at all times while referring all job injuries immediately to a managerBasic QualificationsAssociates must be in good standingAbility to work flexible shifts/schedules/areasAbility to work overtime as requiredContinued meeting or exceeding of department performance goalsWork proficiently in Sage, ObjectWare, FWMS, Microsoft OfficeAt least one year of lead/supervisory experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree, and/or prior experience managing employeesHave an A-Z business understanding (Inbound, Outbound, IC/QA)Excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem solving and analytical skillsAble to work in an ambiguous, 'internet-speed' environmentAbility to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situationsStrong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills with all levels of Fabric associates and managersRespect from associates in production areaA willingness to use process improvement tools and techniques2+ years experience working with fabricExperience implementing process improvementsAmazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
