Create ladder plans and analyzing current and historical trends against them and LY

  • Develop, execute and communicate strategic merchandise and financial plans that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives for assigned accounts
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and classification. Communicate risk and propose corrective action Manage account plan
  • Manage account planning process to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability goals with professionalism and integrity Review end of season performance
  • Monitor end of season retailer profitability and suggest actions to reduce retailer markdowns and maximize margin Ad hoc requests
  • Complete various support requests from senior leadership and sales leaders which often have short deliverable time-frames
  • No supervisory or budgetary responsibility
  • Position often communicates with external customer peers regarding product performance & business trends
  • Participate in customers seasonal line reviews and planning sessions
Experience and Skills
  • 4+ years of experience in planning principles, financial budgeting, retail fundamentals, ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Planning principles, financial budgeting, retail fundamentals, ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient with planning systems, proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into trends and initiate action
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Executives and Account teams
  • Exhibits the ability to skillfully overcome obstacles
