At Verizon Telematics, our UX Design team is made up of passionate UX professionals with experience in user research, usability testing, and visual product design. As a member of our UX Design team you will be embedded with the product teams and contribute throughout the entire product development life cycle. Collaboration is key to our success, and visual design is one of the many key players in creating a better-connected product experience. You’ll be expected to design web and mobile (iOS & Android) interfaces for new products, existing products, and prototypes alike. We encourage a detailed oriented approach and along with a sense of autonomy, you will be expected to be able to think critically and act as leader.
Design engaging and intuitive product experiences for mobile and web interfaces
Create a look and feel that is consistent with existing Verizon Telematics products
Work and collaborate with other visual and UX designers
Design multiple iterations and present options to a Verizon team
Communicate and collaborate with product and development teams
Deliver design specs and annotations to development team
Work with the QA team to provide design QA on developed products
3 to 5years as a visual designer with experience designing interfaces for mobile (iOS and Android) as well as responsive web applications
Must have a portfolio with web and mobile applications and services that demonstrates a strong design aesthetic
Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe Creative
Strong visual design skills with a passion for mobile design
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to balance needs of a large number of projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills articulating your design choices to a larger group
Excellent collaboration skills
Outgoing, highly organized, flexible, able to focus on long term goals and meet critical deadlines
Familiar with design sprints and working in an agile environment
