Company Job ID-6587BRThis is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual, with consulting engineering experience, to join our Electrical Engineering team and manage transmission and substation design projects for Municipal and Industrial water / wastewater and Water Resources clients. This individual, with the support of a strong nationally recognized technical staff, will utilize their expertise and technical knowledge of power distribution emergency power, lighting, panel layouts, P&ID's and Instrumentation & Controls systems to manage and lead Municipal & Industrial water / wastewater and Water Resources infrastructure design & construction projects and participate in project pursuits within the Water / Wastewater market.Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close outManage project implementation including project schedule, project budget and the project resources including external vendors and contractorsMetris tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate and department procedures during all the phases of the projectMaintain Arcadis' standards and specifications for electrical projectsMeeting established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope, schedule, and budget.Work's directly with clients to determine needs and provides solutions.Coordinates execution of projects with other disciplines and the Project/Program Manager.Will provide additional support for construction, commissioning and start-up projects as needed.Creates and manages cost estimates and project schedules, and will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications 10 years of experience.Bachelors' degree in Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or equivalent industry related experience, defined as 10+ years of professional experience in the electric power and/or public utility industry.3+ years relevant project management experience required.Relevant experience includes large-scale project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on large/complex projects.General understanding of transmission systems required.Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting required.Background/Drug Screen Statement Arcadis U.S. requires all employees hired in the United States to successfully pass a background check & drug test as a condition of employment.
