research services to agencies of the U.S. Government, as well as businesses,

administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in

Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.

Job Summary

Westat is seeking software developer interns to work

part-time in our Atlanta office. Our office is located downtown within walking

distance of two MARTA stations (Peachtree Center and Five Points).

Job Responsibilities

You will be working with a team that is involved in

exciting development efforts using modern web and mobile framework in support

of multiple transportation data collection and visualization projects using

advanced web and mobile technologies such as HTML5, WebRTC, Google Maps, GPS,

VoIP, etc. Familiaritywith relational databases (PostgresSQL, MySql, SQL

server, SQLite, etc) is a plus. Working knowledge of web development

technologies such as Javascript and CSS is required.

Basic Qualifications

Students pursing a bachelor’s degree in computer science,

computer engineering, computation media or related field is required. Students

Preferred Qualifications

Students who have completed 1 year of college level

computer science coursework.
