The Wholesale Business Information Office (BIO) is seeking a strong Salesforce Administrator. This resource will partner with and support the Wholesale line of business which includes Commercial / Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Treasury & Payments, and Capital Markets. This is a strong individual contributor role that will be a part of a strong Salesforce Administration team. The team covers all levels of configuration across the Salesforce CRM platform as well as key integration with other third party applications such as nCino, Eloqua, Seismic, and salesPrism. We are looking for individuals who have a passion to deliver strong quality results every day. This role is a full time, regular position which will be based on site in either our Atlanta, GA or Richmond, VA office. Key requirements of the role include:

Requirements Development and Planning.

• Works with system users, new requestors or project teams to analyze business needs and develop business requirements to meet complex business needs.

• Analyzes capabilities against business requirements, including review of new or emerging Salesforce technology, and add-ins or partner applications.

• Develops and fully documents system requirements, including graphs, diagrams, or models as appropriate.

• Conducts joint application review and design sessions with stakeholders.

• Develops proposed configuration, reviews design options with business partners, recommends solutions, and guides business partners through decision-making process.

• On project teams, provides input to Project Manager on task breakdown, risks and issues.

• Identifies system inefficiencies/gaps, troubleshoots operational issues and explore opportunities for updates

• Creates and maintains documentation on processes and application configuration

Salesforce Configuration.

• Configures Salesforce to meet complex business and system requirements, using recommended best practices, ensuring optimization of performance and minimizing risk.

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of capabilities, newly released functionality, Salesforce administrative tools and Salesforce AppExchange offerings.

• Applies creative-problem solving techniques to meet business needs when encountering system limitations.

• Daily administration and support of Salesforce, including configuration updates to security, sharing rules, profiles, roles, custom & standard objects, fields, record types, page layouts, complex workflow rules, Process Builder, Visual Workflow, reports/dashboards and validation rules

• Familiarilty in working in Sandbox environments for development/testing

• Experience with 3rd party apps such as Eloqua,, Seismic, nCino, Drawloop, Dreamfactory, salesPrism, Form Assembly, Field Trip, GitHub

Testing, Defect Resolution and Installation.

• Performs system testing; conducts user acceptance testing, including development of test plans and test scripts; tracks and corrects system defects. Documents final test results; obtains approval from requestor, and other project stakeholders as necessary.

• Complies with Change Control and implementation management procedures, creating and managing Change Controls throughout assigned projects and providing project documentation to meet Audit requirements.

• Installs final, tested configuration to production system and communicates updates to project team.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by documenting test plans and test cases

Time Management and Communication.

• Manages multiple high-priority tasks of varying complexity and size, with minimal supervision.

• Establishes priorities and self-monitors progress towards task completion. Initiates and leads meetings with project stakeholders and project teams to facilitate open communication.

• Provides timely updates on project status to team and stakeholders.

User Support and Problem Resolution.

• Responds to user issues escalated to Salesforce team, researches reported problems, determines root cause and recommends solutions for updated configuration to eliminate problem.

• Serves as Subject Matter Expert, providing input for training plans and training development


• Support the governance model by working closely with all system partners to ensure minimal impact to organizations within the shared Salesforce instance

• Work closely with business partners to identify opportunities for development and configuration improvements

• Maintain detailed configuration and acceptance criteria notes for all current and future work items

• Overall database management including maintaining integrity of database and finding additional resources supplement existing database


Minimum Qualifications

(Grade 47)

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience

• 6 years of progressive work experience in business analysis

• Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication, including persuasive and explanatory writing, development of presentations and system and process documentation

• Proven ability to drive, improve and develop efficient, fully-optimized business and system processes

(Grade 49)

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

• 10 years of progressive work experience in business analysis including ability to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business requirements

• Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication, including persuasive and explanatory writing, development of presentations and system and process documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to Date Salesforce Administrator Certification

• Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools

• Implementing and on-going managing API integrations

• 5- 7+ years of Salesforce administration experience (Sales, Service, and Marketing)
