Sage Sales Comp and Administration Analyst, Sr in Atlanta, Georgia

Overview:

Create, Organize, Consolidate, Formulate and Present a Regular Cadence of reports and analytical support, intended to determine trends, monitor performance, identify erroneous data and track programs and progress as determined by the business. In addition, there is a need to provide insightful ideas on governance as it relates to establishing appropriate parameters and identifying abnormal conditions. The analyst must develop key indicator tracking, reporting tools, and mechanisms which may use tools like Microsoft Excel with complex formulas, however, the ability to adopt and learn new age Management Information and Data Mining practices and techniques will be imperative to meet the changing demands of the business

Responsibilities:

  • Creates visual presentations (tables, charts, graphs, etc.) of financial information; prepares and presents management and executive level reports for leaders across the organization.

  • Work across functions to drive efficient processes and systems, and leverage best practices

  • Collaborates with global business areas to understand financial anomalies, identify trends, forecast potential impacts, and drive business decisions

  • Provide insightful financial business reporting and analysis to help drive strategic decisions

  • Maintain process and analysis of forecast and commission reports in various formats from global regions

  • Partner with department heads to gather metrics and data for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and perform analyses

  • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports and presentations

  • Serves on special projects and completes other duties and ad-hoc analysis, as requested

Qualifications:

Must have:

  • 6+ years business and/or technical/academic training on Data Management tools, financial analysis, reporting, including report development

  • Strong analytical background and demonstrated capability in developing and writing reports and queries in multiple software applications

  • The ability to create and write business process documents

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, lookup tables, and other data mining tools

  • Excellent communication skills required to present findings and translate data into an understandable documents or presentations

  • Highly motivated individual driven to keep pace in a fast moving and dynamic environment

  • Ability to take risks and comfortable promoting valid ideas to Management

  • Self-directed, willing to take initiative before being asked

  • Ability to adapt to rapid change in a relatively unstructured environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management Information or related field preferable, or equivalent business experience, Management

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of MS SharePoint, including work-flows and/or administrator functions

  • Experience or experimentation with Any High Level Mining and Reporting Tools. I.e. Crystal, BI, Cognos, Tableau

  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems a plus but not required

  • Experience or Training in Database Development, Development of IT related business Requirement
