You'll confer with internal stakeholders and build new collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders, policy-makers and advocates. You'll contribute cutting-edge clinical and scientific data to help move healthcare forward and positively impact patients. You will be instrumental in launching a chrono-synchronous amantadine therapy with potential applications across a number of chronic neurologic disorders. The initial development is focused on the treatment of levodopa-induced dyskinesia (LID) in patients with Parkinson's disease.

You will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with designated stakeholders, e.g., Key Opinion Leaders, Investigators, Payers

  • Conduct effective and compliant interactions with external stakeholders on disease state, products and development programs

  • Identify and communicate medical/scientific insights and trends that are relevant to stakeholders, e.g., the competitive landscape, unmet needs of investigators, researchers, physicians

  • Participate in relevant medical congresses and other related events

  • Support interactions with investigators and potential investigators in conjunction with ongoing and planned clinical trials

  • Provide balanced and accurate information to top regional formulary decision makers and P&T committee members in conjunction with the market access team per the direction of the Director MSL

  • Follow agreed-upon processes for effective, compliant, medically-sound information tools and resources to support the safe and effective use of company-marketed products

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and US healthcare laws and regulations

  • Support implementation of field medical affairs strategies and plans, reporting mechanisms, procedures per guidance from the Director, Medical Science Liaison

  • Support key internal and external stakeholders to meet department and corporate goals including medical/scientific training across functions such as commercial


Along with your ability to remain at the forefront of your field, you must possess:

  • MD, PharmD, PhD in a scientific discipline required

  • 3+ years' relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry required

  • Neurology experience required, Parkinsons experience highly preferred

  • Ability to use existing KOL relationships strongly preferred

  • Experience supporting clinical/scientific discussions with payers highly preferred

  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, commercial, and clinical issues affecting the pharmaceutical and managed care industries

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present scientific information and influence others to achieve desired results and the ability to present within external formats, such as physician gatherings, medical congresses, etc.

  • Ability to travel 75% to 80%

  • Successful experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver's license to drive to assignments, unless otherwise specified
