BMH Engineering, LLC was established in 2007 to provide in-house engineering design services as a design/build component of Kirlin Builders. Professional Engineering design services are provided by licensed professionals and include mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunications, and have been augmented through the addition of professional architectural design. Sustainable design through application of LEED principles is emphasized in all projects, and executed by LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. Ancillary sub-contracted services include civil and structural design, fire protection design, and specialty design or evaluation services such as radiological testing and imaging design. Offerings also include building envelope analysis and energy modeling, power system quality analysis including arc flash evaluation and training, 3D design, and Building Information Modeling (BMI). BMH provides these services in support of Kirlin Builder's mission of performing repair, renewal, and new construction work for military healthcare facilities, and has developed national expertise in the execution of a variety of project times.
BMH is currently looking for Mechanical Engineers to join our team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide mechanical and plumbing engineering design relative to medical project types for new construction and renovation projects.
Perform site investigations, design reviews, surveys, and respond to customer questions regarding project development.
Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience.
PE License or EIT who will sit for PE exam in October 2017.
US Citizenship required. Must have US Citizenship due to working on military and government projects. Unfortunately, no green cards or visas are sponsored.
Mechanical and plumbing engineering and design experience for medical repair and renewal projects.
Mechanical design including HVAC, ductwork and piping layout and design, system sizing, humidity and temperature control, plumbing, medical gas, and other design tasks related to mechanical engineering.
Must be able to interpret and apply codes including NFPA, IBC, ASHRAE, UFGS and UFC criteria.
Some travel may be required if deemed necessary.
