POSITION PURPOSEMarketing Coordinator is responsible for day to day support to department marketing teams. Leads execution and follow up of all marketing campaigns. This role will source and facilitate assets/content/landing destinations/skus from merchant, vendor and cross-channel partners. Ensures accuracy of marketing campaign submissions, implementation and quality assurance. Helps monitor the competitive environment and notify marketing team of any competitive threats. The Marketing Coordinator will support their Direct Manager with campaign reporting and budget tracking.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 40%-Develop reporting documents used for internal weekly updates. Track and record competitive activity by each Fiscal Week. Report out on marketing and competitive activity during internal status updates and merchant staff meetings. Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data. Supports marketing by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests. Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.

  • 30%-Work with merchants and MMM to understand product priorities and strategic initiatives for marketing. Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations.

  • 20%-Partner with MMM and cross channel functional teams to execute various base and vendor-funded marketing initiatives across paid, and owned and earned channels by providing creative direction and securing creative assets in accordance with production timelines. Seek necessary merchant approvals.

  • 10%-Work on special projects as directed.
