Job Description & Qualifications
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and programs to ensure personnel and property protection. Forecast and analyze trends involving criminal activities. Coordinate contacts with outside law enforcement agencies.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Supervises the design, installation and maintenance of Burglar Alarm, CCTV and Access Control Systems.
Develops security-related policies and procedures. Manages communication and compliance throughout the company.
Conducts onsite security assessments to identify vulnerability, threat and liability concerns. Coordinates with federal and local law enforcement in incidents of inventory loss events not related to employee theft.
Analyzes demographic information as it relates to security to provide decision support affected business units. Employs crime forecasting research to predict potential criminal flashpoints nationwide and implement proactive approach.
Manages vendor relations with security suppliers on national basis. Negotiates and secures emergency security services as needed.
Benchmarks company against industry best-practices.
Develops cost-effective initiatives to increase ROIC for security-related initiatives and security related products to increase company profit.

Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age

Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details
Completion of Military or Civilian Law Enforcement Academy
Bachelor-s degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
Understanding of and experience with ROI, CAPEX, P&L, inventory adjustments, audits and other related business forms and reports.
Experience designing and installing various security systems.
