Computer Aid, Inc. Intelligent Transport System Upgrade Project Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Computer Aid is looking for a Project Manager to join a client in the Atlanta area. This is a contract for 1600 hours and candidates must interview in person.

The Project Manager will support the achievement of the objectives of the Trapeze Full Suite upgrade project by aligning the efforts with the Technology PMO processes and procedures by performing the following tasks: Identify roles and responsibilities, define and estimate activities, determine the budget and control costs, manage and control the scope, manage change controls as needed, facilitate status meetings, review and validate invoices for services rendered, and ensure invoices are paid and closed out.

The current Trapeze suite of products at our client's site have provided numerous internal and externa) stakeholders with advanced technologies as it relates to Automated Vehicle Locator System, fixed asset management, fixed route scheduling, bus, and rail trip planning for Customer Service Agents and via web and phone for our patrons. Mobility Services trip scheduling and trip booking, trip cancellations & confirmation capabilities via the web and phone for our Mobility patrons, and Breeze Card balance check via phone. Many of these systems need to be upgraded to its current commercially available version. Our client must update all the Trapeze suite of products to remain current on maintenance. Hardware, such as aging servers, will need to be replaced to comply with current requirements of the applications. The solution to the numerous initiatives mentioned within the above description is to procure and deploy new advanced scheduling applications, replace aging hardware, upgrade end-of-life systems and bring current applications to latest released versions.
