TCG ATL has just opened a new job for an Instructional Design Technologist. The Instructional Design Technologist will apply internal design standards to develop video and graphic content. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, info graphics, screencasts, videos and software simulations. The Instructional Technologist will work closely with members of cross functional teams to create and deliver world-class content to our learners. To be considered, all candidates must provide a link to an online portfolio with relevant work samples. Responsibilities

  • Produce screencasts, leader messages, tutorials, internal announcements, process how-to's and other video content.

  • Record and edit software simulations using Adobe Captivate

  • Support eLearning development content developers by providing custom design deliverables for instructor led and eLearning and adding custom interactivity to courseware utilizing Storyline 2 and 360

  • Develop graphics for use in communications and training deliverables. These may include: info graphics, website images, page designs (developed in Adobe InDesign), PNG learning objects, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, process flows, and other design deliverables - often with "quick turnaround" requirements.

  • Create and integrate webinar content (to be delivered via Adobe Connect and WebEx) and maintain content on cloud server.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization regarding their deliverables.

  • Configure and test LMS settings, working with the LMS team to finalize all settings and publishing process

  • Creating custom learning objects (isometric, most likely in Adobe Illustrator) based on specific requirements identified by the process and Instructional Design teams

  • Providing deskside support to Instructional Designers to mentor their creation of e-learning that meets UX and identity/brand requirements

  • Manage content repository and technically validate that all supporting files turned in by Instructional Designers are published

  • Adobe Creative Cloud. EXPERT Photoshop skills required, especially in relation to photo compositing. Candidates should also have a STRONG working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, etc.

  • MS Office

  • HTML (Intermediate - Dreamweaver users preferred)

  • Adobe Captivate

  • Camtasia

  • Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects (not required, but preferred)

  • Articulate Storyline (360 preferred)

  • Contemporary design aesthetic. Designer will need to use creativity and energy to develop compelling and informative images, which can sometimes be a challenge when working with financial data and concepts. Looking for a designer who can develop streamlined corporate design deliverables.

  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient. Candidate should be able to perform at a high level without constant supervision and guidance.

  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies in a production environment.

  • STRONG command of professional written communications. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Should be able to communicate courteously and professionally with team members and business partners.

  • Minimum 36 months experience in a corporate environment.
