The Executive Finance Manager serves as a business partner in the execution of the business strategy for a $550 Million P&L in Industrial Solutions and lead the development and implementation of an effective operating rhythm to drive the business performance. He/She will provide financial, controllership and compliance leadership and partner with the business leadership team to increase visibility into operating performance with the goal of driving revenue growth and increased profitability.
As the Executive Finance Manager, you will:
Demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives
Partner with the business leader and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for pricing, prep of sales plan / monthly estimation of revenue to standard margin, proactively recognize standard revenue recognition practices, deal escalation, contribution margin walks
Assist in providing analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risks and opportunities, and coordinate timely updates via financial reviews
Drive financial process improvement initiatives throughout the business
Partner with technical / business leaders and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for cost optimization, productivity, inventory accuracy & utilization, as well as inventory standard settings
Develop estimates, operating plans, forecasts, reviews, reports (GAAP), Growth Playbook (3-year plan) and SII (1-year plan)
Develop and establish financial policies & procedures
Perform internal and external audits and ensure controllership and consistency of accounting process across the operations, drive controllership awareness and processes through operations teams and ensures finance compliance
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial position
Master’s Degree in Business Administration
Strong industry knowledge and contacts coupled with knowledge of controllership, accounting and tax/legal issues
Proven experience independently structuring, restructuring and executing large complex transitions
Prior experience managing a multi-functional finance organization
Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Demonstrated team leadership ability
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Established analytical and project management ability
Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs
