Our Environmental Services practice area performs environmental consulting services for a variety of industries, including Utilities, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, Petro-Chemical, Industrial, Commercial, Water & Wastewater Treatment, and Land DevelopmentENERCON Services is seeking an Electrical Designer / Drafter to support our Kennesaw, GA office on a full time basis.In this role, your Key Responsibilities will include:* Prepare accurate layout and detail drawings of parts, assemblies, and related items* Confer with engineers and other drafters for design concept interpretation* Work directly with Engineering to interpret drawing markups for development or revision of the product* Modify and revises drawings as necessary to correct deficiencies* Understand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directives* Conduct self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect the final product* Support engineers with any changes to drawings* Meet applied time goals set for position/disciplineAs a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:* Must be proficient with AutoCad and Microstation; experience with PLS-CADD is preferred* 4+ Years of experience as an Electrical Designer supporting electric utility projects* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Thorough attention to detail of spelling/grammar, clarity, and organization* Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record client policies* Must be able to work productively with other staff, at all levels, in a team environment* Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeksENERCON Services, Inc. is a 34-year-old, engineering and technical services consulting company, providing premier services to companies in the energy, utility, and industrial verticals, as well as to governmental agencies across the US and Internationally.
