The Assembly Tech will repair aircraft components while maintaining strict compliance with Transport Canada and airline regulations. Servicing/Repairs will also include, but not limited to, NICAD, Lead Acid batteries, Battery Packs, Temperature Sensors, Ground Supports Equipment and Battery Service and Repairs.

Additionally, a wide variety of electronic equipment will be utilized to test, repair, and charge batteries.

Job Description:

•Test & Evaluate Batteries •Determine level of service needed to correct problems •Charge, Clean, Inspect, Prep Batteries and Battery Packs for Shipment •Receives and prioritizes orders; reserves materials; assembles product. •Creates and closes work orders; answers calls; assists other technicians as needed. •Completes order entry into system; update as needed. •Prepares and ships materials (hazardous and/or non-hazardous). •Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: H. S. Diploma, or equivalent 2-4 years of manufacturing, mechanic or repair technician experience. Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints, Assembly Drawings and Specifications Manuals Ability to use a variety of Hand and Electrical Tools
PC Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Vocational or Trade School with an emphasis in Mechanics and/or Aviation

Experience: Previous experience in an aviation parts manufacturing and/or maintenance environment

Certifications: • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License
