Robert Half is seeking corporate counsel for a boutique law firm which focuses on corporate and intellectual property and technology law and litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual that wants to grow our and their business into a long-term working relationship.   • Providing clients with corporate and strategic counsel services focusing on representing the "whole" client

  • Assisting clients with growth and exit strategies, investment transactions, business succession, and merger and acquisition issues

  • Handling client contractual issues such as: licensing, distributor and other revenue generation agreements, strategic alliances, partnerships and suppliers; good working knowledge of IP law, privacy law and related areas applicable to technology based businesses.

  • Managing client intellectual property legal issues (domestic and international) regarding strategy, brand protection, creative protection, and general IP management

  • Providing legal business coaching services that focus on completing business transactions, re-solving disputes without formal legal action or through collaboration with litigation counsel, and strategic and tactical positioning for leveraging positions

  • Assume front-line responsibility for client projects, including communicating directly with the client, and shepherd client projects from beginning to completion Knowledge Skills Required

  • Excellent academic record from an ABA Accredited Law School

  • State bar memberships in GA (NY, FL and/or CA a plus)

  • 3-5 years of solid experience in medium to large size law firm in areas of corporate, private securities and/or tax

  • Proven track record of developing strong, trusting, and long lasting client relationships

  • Ability to handle fast paced workload and add value to multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to act as a "Practical Strategist" to balance business needs with legal risk

  • Ability to use "hands-on" approach to research, problem-solving, and client relations

  • Quality and customer service that far exceeds client expectations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Self-starter, interested in growing own business and with firm clients

  • Creative, positive thinker with a good sense of humor

  • Exceptional business coaching skills in the legal area

  • Experience in employment law and/or IP litigation a benefit
