Philips Senior Salesforce Developer & Administrator in Alpharetta, Georgia

Position Summary :

This job is responsible for coordinating, consulting and performing Salesforce.com development and administration activities around various business solutions implemented on the Salesforce platforms for the Philips Healthcare North America Customer Services organization. This includes regular interfacing and representing the business solutions team with the business stakeholders and IT organizations (where relevant) to ensure a successful solution is implemented and maintained for ongoing success for the business.

The position will require strong salesforce.com skills including agile methodology and execution with experience in executing solution development on salesforce. The successful candidate will be engage in the business needs and requirements elicitation process and translate the requirements into effective technical solution design, develop and implement any technical design into an effective and robust technical solution, sustain current solution and create technical/quality documentation. The role will be responsible for overall design, development, testing and ongoing sustaining/administration of the platform and all applications working closely with other technical experts within and outside the team.

This position requires little/no supervision and work with other PMs, BAs, SMEs, and developers/architects as a technical/solutions consultant and business consultant, document solution design, other documentation, test planning/test case creation, participate in team strategy and vision execution/implementation, monitor project success and process and role compliance.

Engage with industry groups to find emerging trends and best practices and apply when applicable. Recommend best in class applications to promote knowledge sharing especially in a business analysis, quality assurance and business tools & solutions development. Apply lean in day to day work activities within the team.

Travel as required to facilitate implementation/UAT/training of solution and supporting business change management activities.

Key Responsibilities/Duties :

Salesforce.com Development – 50% if the time includes the following:

  • Analyze functional requirements, provide solution design and implementation for specific proposed business solutions on the SalesForce platform.

  • Generate technical requirements, gain approval of stakeholders to ensure that they meet business needs and prioritize needs using agile sprints to execute and develop the solution

  • Create all required documentation on all projects using pre-defined templates and keep documentation up to date on any existing solutions/tool changes and facilitate training & rollout of new solutions/tools

  • Sustain current tools and solutions and manage ongoing improvements to meet business needs. Respond and resolve all feedbacks (all priorities) within the set thresholds (business days)

  • Actively identify ideas for enhancement to the CRM, including streamlining workflows in the system, take user suggestion for enhancements and identify the best way to implement if approved and leverage available data to enhance CRM processesSalesforce.com & DocuSign Administration – 50% if the time includes the following:

  • DocuSign Administration and Support

  • SalesForce Administration and supporting including

  • Maintain user accounts (create and deactivate)

  • Profile configuration changes as needed

  • Create customer accounts

  • First line support for case management

  • Create new fields as needed and make configuration changes to the system that do not require code updates

  • SalesForce Asset, Contract and Opportunities data management including

  • Monitor loading of Assets, Contracts and Contract lines and resolve errors (IS/UL)

  • Load PCMS Contracts and Contract Lines

  • Create opportunities for expiring renewal and warranty contracts (IS/UL/PCMS/MV)

  • Maintain zip plot which is used for all territory assignments and access for service sales

  • Support user training for new features

  • Standard work (Document Salesforce Admin processes and SLAs for ssCRM) Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Salesforce.com customizations.

  • Experience in developing APEX Classes, Aura UI Framework, Triggers, Workflows, Validations, and Visual Force pages including HTML, Java Script, & ExtJS.

  • Experience in Salesforce1 Mobile development.

  • Detailed knowledge of Security, Sharing, Profiles, and Roles.

  • Experience in writing SOQL and SOSL queries.

  • Experience using agile methodology for software development.

  • Demonstrated experience in successful software deployment in large organizations.

  • Experience in creation of technical specifications/Solution Design.

  • Experience with documentation and revision control

  • Ability to drive complex software project technical solutions.

  • Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as part of a cross business team.

  • Ability to multitask with complex projects and assignments to meet business needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at multiple levels including process technical documentation for regulatory review.

  • Ability to work cohesively and effectively with employees at different levels / departments of the organization.

  • Ability to work with international teams effectively with design and deployment.

  • Software development / deployment methodology. Experience supporting existing previously developed software.

  • Other Skills/Tools needed: Jenkins, SVN, Eclipse, Dataloader, Informatica, and Oracle PL/SQL.Years of Experience:8+ years of overall technology experience/ skills including technical designing and implementation experience comprised of the following:

  • 5+ years strong technical experience, eliciting and implementing salesforce.com
