All requirements may be modified to accommodate physically or mentally challenged staff members reasonably.Responsibilities:Produce new and manage existing SBA loans (primarily SBA 7a program) and the various other ancillary Bank products required by SBA borrowers, primarily by developing business from within the Bank. Cultivate SBA loan referrals from non-SBA lending personnel, "Geographic Bankers," inside the Bank's footprint.Handle routine annual reviews and account management, at times assisting Geographic Bankers with such.Excellent knowledge of Bank loan and deposit products.Fluency in SBA SOPs, program eligibility, credit criteria and loan structure requirements.Thorough understanding of and adherence to the Bank's credit underwriting and closing policies and processes.Demonstrate ability to understand credit risk and be able to properly evaluate, discuss and mitigate risk in a relationship.Basic analytical and financial analysis skillsWorking (intermediate) knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.Display professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Balance Borrower needs with those of the Banker and the Bank.Provide required reporting to Director of SBA Banking.Will be involved in community activitiesAttend and participate in all required Bank and Department meetings as requestedParticipate in other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Required:A high school diploma or equivalent,Previous credit underwriting and credit administration experience,Previous Lending background and skills,Technical knowledge and proficiency to handle the activities and responsibilities of job,Effectively communicate to SBA and non-SBA personnel, officers, and senior management,Demonstrate success in sales ability.2 years of experience in SBA lending2 years of experience in a sales rolePreferred:Bachelor's degreeExtensive SBA lending experienceCommercial loan underwriting experienceClient service orientationRENASANT BANK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
