The Systems Administrator will provide systems support for Electronic Commerce Services.
Candidate will be responsible for the operational activities of a 24x7x365 enterprise environment within the financial service industry (fin-tech).
Duties include, but not limited to, incident management, work-order fulfillment, change management, mitigating customer events, PCI compliance/audit, vulnerability remediation, patch management, DR tests, and/or ad-hoc activities to support business requirements.
Determine root cause of service impacting incidents and tracks appropriate corrective actions that will prevent the problem from recurring.
Leads problem investigations as it relates to hardware, hypervisor, platform, and middleware.
Approve and execute Change Control requests for hardware, OS, and applications.
Monitor alerting systems and servers.
Additionally, the role will be responsible for coordinating and successfully patching and providing maintenance on Oracle GRID infrastructure.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent job related experience.
Redhat Linux Certified
Job Related Experience:
- 2 + years of job related experience
- Redhat Enterprise
- Patching Oracle GRID infrastructure
- SSL Certificates
ODA & ExaData
Proven experience running infrastructure projects
Strong background in Oracle Database Administration
- Work Schedule
o Primary (90%): Monday – Friday; 8AM – 5PM ET
o Secondary (<10%): 3rd shift assistance for Oracle GRID Maintenance
