Verizon Wireless IVR Developer in Alpharetta, Georgia
Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will work fairly independently on more complex operational & technical projects, issues, systems and applications. You will use your experience, expertise and skills to solve problems that are more difficult & infrequent.
This position will be working as a senior developer on the Next Generation IVR platform in a DevOps and Cloud environment. Incumbent will participate in design, perform development and perform unit testing of identified application modules for conversion to the new platform. This developer will also provide knowledge transfer to other developers on the NextGen IVR platform and DevOps/Cloud as required.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Four or more years of relevant experience.
Experience with MPS Periproducer, VXML, Java, Cisco UCCE or Avaya IVR.
Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Ideally, you'll also have:

Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.
Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud technologies.
